“Superhero/Villain Day” Costume Idea

My daughter found a t-shirt with a BROKEN HEART graphic on the front so we decided that she would base one of her SPIRIT WEEK costumes around it for SUPER HERO/VILLAIN DAY. Her classmates would know her as one of the sweetest girls at her school, but whenever she witnessed a couple in love, she would morph into her alter ego—THE HEARTBREAKER.

Here's the backstory behind her villainess character...

Brooke had been UNLUCKY AT LOVE despite being the kindest girlfriend she could be. Her one true love broke up with her in a jealous rage, despite her ALWAYS being true and faithful to him. She decides that she is tired of being the "NICE GIRL" and decides that IF SHE CANNOT HAVE HER ONE TRUE LOVE, NO ONE ELSE SHOULD HAVE LOVE...and that is why she became THE HEARTBREAKER.

She bought the shirt and then found a belt and silver leggings. She added some volleyball shorts and bought the boots from a Halloween store.

Here is the back of her cape. My friend sewed a cape for her and Brooke used metallic fabric paint to decorate the back.
